Integrity

Symmetry of belief and behavior. Without it, nothing else matters.

At the core of everything we do is a single, unifying virtue: Integrity. It is the ethical North Star that guides our behavior, shapes our culture, and ensures every person at Proxima acts in alignment with our principles.

Wealth management is a profession whose very existence depends on absolute, unwavering trust. At Proxima, Integrity is more than a virtue—it is everything.

Across religious and philosophical traditions—Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Stoicism, Bushido, and many others—Integrity is a sacred principle and a mark of righteousness. It is the incorruptible commitment to do what is right, especially when it is difficult or when no one is watching. The truthful path is almost always self-evident—and at Proxima, we always take it. As Marcus Aurelius wrote in Meditations, “Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.”

Reputation is the outward manifestation of Integrity, and at Proxima, it is our most precious and enduring asset.  It is trust compounded—built through exemplary character and principled judgment—the quiet proof of the respect we have earned from our CLIENTS, Advisors, partners, and communities.

Reputation cannot be bought or sold, and a single misstep can destroy what took decades to build. It is our moral and ethical capital. We protect it always—and risk it never.

Integrity finds one of its clearest expressions in our role as fiduciaries. We are bound to act in the best interests of our CLIENTS, and for us, being a fiduciary is far more than a regulatory requirement—it is a moral obligation. It means placing our CLIENTS’ needs ahead of our own and bringing principled judgment to every decision we make. In a world where conflicts of interest often lurk beneath the surface, we are steadfast in our commitment to objectivity, fairness, and transparency. Acting as fiduciaries is not simply what we do—it is who we are.

At Proxima, we do not merely profess Integrity—we live it. Asserting values is easy; adhering to them under pressure is not. Yet it is precisely in moments of adversity and uncertainty that principles matter most, and reputations are either strengthened or squandered.

No matter where this business leads, Integrity will remain our constant. It brings symmetry to belief and behavior—and without it, nothing else matters.
